Upon entering The Pumpelly House, you will be greeted in the Tioga Hall with a grand staircase and surrounding balcony. At the south end of the
hall is the Susquehanna room with a charming bay window and an alcove
seating area, fireplace, ornate ceiling and antique chandelier. The
Susquehanna room offers personal elegance for both formal and larger
informal dinners, meetings, etc.
Through the wide doorway to the east
of the Tioga Hall lies the Robert Morris room, complete with a large
fireplace, bay windows, and seating for smaller social events. The
elegant décor provides a rich ambience for intimate parties and
receptions.
The inviting John D. Rockefeller Club Lounge, located to
the west of the Tioga Hall, is outfitted with casual seating and a
large screen TV creating an enjoyable setting for camaraderie. Adjacent
to the Rockefeller Club Lounge lies the Henry Martyn Robert Bistro which is always available for dining and is a favorite gathering spot
for guests.
Traveling
up the Grand Staircase, one enters the Bed & Breakfast portion of
the Pumpelly House. The George Pumpelly Suite offers amenities
including a king sized bed, fireplace and comfortable seating.
The Amos
Draper and James McMaster rooms have king size beds, and the Esther
McQuigg Morris room is fitted with a queen bed. Each of the rooms
offers TV, coffeemaker, private ensuite bath, and Bose clock radio to
make your stay comfortable. |
